South Korea, part 3: street art
I have a long-standing habit of documenting street art; it started when I lived in Seattle and has stuck with me ever since. When I travel, I try to keep an eye out for graffiti and other public art (see the entry from Iceland here). I didn’t find as much in Seoul, but what I did find was impressive. As always, if you read this and happen to know who any of the artists are, let me know so I can give credit.

Somewhere on the walk between Yeoksam and Gangnam Station.

On a door on my walk along the Han river.

Hidden on a side street on my walk back from Namsan Tower.

Fancy stairs in Itaewon.

A side street in Itaewon.

Itaewon again. I love the painted utility pole.

Further up the street from that last pic. I have no idea who this girl is, but she walked into my shot with perfect timing. The middle section of this is by Lawrence Blackman.
