Iceland, part 3: street art
Iceland is incredibly literate, educated, and has more artists per capita than almost any other country in the world. Many of those artists like to paint stuff on buildings. The country is full of great street art, and I have a quasi-habit of documenting street art wherever I go.
So, without further ado, a roundup of art from Iceland. I don’t know the artist names on most of these, so if by some chance people stumble along this post who do, please let me know in the comments so I can link/give credit.

My favorite Reykjavik street art from 2013, then and now. The giraffe used to be saying “I’ve come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass”. If you haven’t seen They Live, stop what you’re doing and go watch it right now.
